The safety and welfare of pupils in Bolton Primary School is always of paramount importance. All staff employed by the school have undertaken formal Safeguarding training, and hold certificates in this. Two of our staff hold the highest qualifications for safeguarding currently on offer to schools in Cumbria.

Bullying

Bullying is wrong and Bolton Primary School has a consistent response to all forms of bullying.  Our emphasis is on promoting positive behaviour to ensure that pupils behave well, show respect to one another and the incidence of bullying is reduced.  Any reported incident of bullying is investigated immediately, dealt with, and parents are informed.
